Day & night driving

Two lenses, one visor. The glare comes down a stop.

A clip-on panel that fastens to the sun visor you already have. Two lenses sit on the same hinge: a smoked grey one for daylight, an amber one for after dark. Flip whichever you need down in front of your eyes, push it back up when the road clears.

No tools, no wiring, nothing to charge. It is tinted acrylic on a hinge — which is why it works in any car and folds away with the visor it hangs on.

Amber lens raised, smoked lens in use.

Day lens

Smoked grey acrylic, for low sun and bright motorway glare.

Night lens

Amber, for headlights, rain and the last stretch home.

Clips on

Tool-free clamp on the visor. No wiring, nothing to charge.

01  /  The two lenses

One hinge, two tints

The smoked lens sits at the front, the amber one behind it. Both swing on the same hinge, so switching between them is a flick of the wrist rather than a search in the glovebox. The frame is ABS, the lenses acrylic — light enough that the visor still folds up flat against the roof.

02  /  Daylight

Low sun, long motorway

For most of the winter the sun sits right at eye level on the drive home. The grey lens takes the edge off the windscreen without turning the road into a silhouette — lane markings, brake lights and mirrors all stay readable underneath it.

03  /  After dark

Headlights, rain, and the last hour

Amber does something grey cannot at night: it warms the scene instead of simply dimming it. Oncoming headlights stop blooming across the glass, and a wet road keeps the contrast that tells you where the kerb is. It is the difference between squinting and just driving.

04  /  Fitting it

On in about ten seconds

Open the clamp, slide it over the existing visor, close it. The pad grips without marking the fabric, and the panel rotates through a full circle, so you can set the angle once and leave it. It folds up with the visor and does not sit in front of the rear-view mirror.

It fits the standard visor in most cars, vans and SUVs. If yours is unusually thick, or has a screen built into it, check the clamp before ordering — that is the only part that can disagree with a car.

For the drive home

The sun does not care what time it is.

It sits low in December, right where the visor does not reach. Two lenses on a hinge is a small thing to keep in the car — and the one you notice every single evening.

Fits the visor you already have. Nothing to install, nothing to charge.
